Kathleen Scott, Senior Service Leader and Registered Manager

Photo of Kathleen ScottI started working within the social care sector in the 1980’s in Scotland as a support worker with the Fred Martin Project this set up by Professor Jim Mansell to support young people from institutional hospitals to live in their own home. I then moved on to work within the Drug Rehabilitation and Homeless sector.

In the 1990’s I decided to take some time out and became a holiday representative travelling all over Europe and further afield. In 1996 I decided after 6 years of travelling to return home to Glasgow and return to work within social care as a Training and Employment Manager and then back to a Service Leaders post at Partners for Inclusion in 2007. I have recently moved to Plymouth from Glasgow to join the Beyond Limits Team. I love the outdoors especially skiing and camping and I recently took up paddle boarding. I also enjoy concerts and music festivals.

Menna Bingham, Service Leader

Photo of Menna BinghamI have had various jobs within the care industry throughout my working life starting as a support worker. I started off life with Beyond Limits as a Team leader and now have a Service Leader role. I have always worked with people that are seen to present challenges as this is where I feel I have the most experience and I can make the most difference. I have been married for 35 years to someone who was in the armed forces, we have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Away from work I enjoy reading, going out for meals and spending time with my family. We have bought a house in France which we are hoping to renovate in the next few years so that we can retire there, we are hoping our family and friends will visit us regularly.

Vicky Rogers, Service Leader

Photo of Vicky RogersI started working as a Support Worker in Plymouth in 2005. I was supporting adults with varying disabilities to live independently within their own communities. Since then, I have gained various qualifications and held a number of management positions for a variety of organisations. I have built up my skill set by working with both local and national organisations supporting people within the criminal justice system and people with dementia. I joined Beyond Limits in January 2017 as a Service Leader and I am looking forward to further developing my skills and working in a truly person centred way. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, live music and adventures with my 3 dogs.

Michelle Tucker, Service Leader

Photo of Michelle TuckerHi, I’m Michelle and I am a Service Leader for Beyond Limits. Part of my role involves making sure the people we support are happy. I also support our team leaders with their role and I have regular contact with the families of the people we support. I thoroughly enjoy my role and am passionate about the beliefs and values of Beyond Limits. The people we support are amazing and inspire me and teach me something new every day. I can truly say Beyond Limits is all about the people we support and this is one of the best things about working here. Away from work I like to visit the theatre, watch football, fishing and shopping.
