Following our 2026 inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Beyond Limits has received the highest possible outcome, an Outstanding rating across all five key areas. This reflects our unwavering commitment to person-centered support, safety, and empowering the people we work alongside every single day.
Since our pioneering start in Plymouth, our growth has been driven by one fundamental belief: that true support isn't about managing lives, but empowering people to lead them.
Beyond Limits was founded in Plymouth by Doreen Kelly with a pioneering vision for social care. At a time when traditional models prevailed, we introduced a truly person-centred approach, entirely redefining how support should work.
As our impact quickly grew, we branched out to provide support in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. For Doreen, this was a deeply personal milestone, an opportunity to bring our transformative support model back to her hometown community.
We continued to flourish in both Scotland and the South West of England. Our footprint rapidly expanded across Devon, reaching into Cornwall, Dorset, and Somerset, allowing us to support more individuals across several regions.
Today, we are as committed as ever to empowering people to live the lives they choose. While our reach has grown significantly since 2013, our core mission remains unchanged, providing bespoke, empowering support that breaks down barriers and champions true independence.
