Salary: £22,367 (£70.00 per sleep)

Hours: Full Time

Experience of working with people who have a history of substance misuse and some knowledge of Autism would be beneficial.

Tommy is coming home. After a long time away in hospital he will be discharged soon to his new home in the community. He has a team of people working with him currently, they are busy getting his home ready for him but he needs a Team Leader. A Team Leader who can lead from the front and by example, someone who will stick with him and his team. If Tommy is going to make his new home work for him, he will need all your expertise and guidance. You might be someone who already has some leadership experience or someone looking to develop their leadership skills. Wherever you are in your career just now, we need you to be someone who will show some resilience. In return we will continue to develop you, we offer full training and reflective support and supervision and training that will support you to become the best version of yourself so that you can support Tommy to be the best version of himself. As part of the team you will be fully involved in the rota and so flexibility is a must. You will receive dedicated management hours to enable you to keep your paperwork up to date but above all else, you must use all of your skills to develop a positive relationship with Tommy. He has been in hospital for a while and will take time to build up a trusting relationship with you. You must be someone who doesn’t take things personally, Tommy is a great guy and it will be the most rewarding job once you get settled in and get to know him.
